    Notes
    • Although Catherine is shown as a daughter of Christopher Switzer and Ora Haughton in many books and genealogies - There is a question as to whether she is a daughter of Christopher and Orra because of the date of her birth and on the 1851 and 1881 census's she is listed as born in Ireland. I would suggest Catherine is the daughter of Philip Switzer and Sarah Martell who was baptized in Ireland Feb. 22, 1818 as several of Philip and Sarah's children came from Ireland to the Lennox and Addington area.
